No, it wasn't a hard call. I always wanted the interlocking NY. I originally wanted to have it look embroidered, like on the hat. But the first place I went to did a hack job with it. (Took forever to heal too)
I wised up and went to Shotsie's. They said that doing that stitched looked on something small would not turn out well. So they just filled it in and it looks much better this way.
A tattoo artist? No. I don't have the freehand illustration skills for that. If I did I would probably think about it though. Seems like a fun job. You probably get to meet some pretty interesting people.

Cool. I doubt I'll ever get a tattoo, but if I happen to do so, the NY ranks as a decent possibility. ;)

It's a pretty safe thing to get. Significant others come and go, but the NY is something you know will last forever.
